Another home..

So,

9 weeks and a day we leave the Norfolk hotel.  We are incredibly grateful for the roof and security it provided, the staff are lovely.

We load up ours and my sister in laws car (we couldn't have done this without hubbys sister and husband.. they have been amazing)  send the kids to McDonald's then to a friends while we take two cars and camp outside the new house for a few hours
- we had to be out of the b&b for 12 but can't sign for the house until 1.45.
There's not a lot you can do with a car full of your possessions.

We meet the builders who are refurbishing the houses, they tell us they are doing a fair few in the area, the houses were set for demolition, but someone (thankfully) used a bit of common sense and decided to use them as homes for people such as me!

The housing officer arrives and we fill in the paperwork, he recognises us and we work out his family used to own the supermarket on st Vincent street about 10 years ago!

We have keys to our own door......   we can cook when we want!!  It's heaven!

The house is amazing!  We are incredibly blessed,  we have a cooker, sofa, table and chairs, carpets, fridge, beds, bedding, saucepans, a plate set, cutlery, a broom, mop and bucket, and light bulbs all provided for our use..    we have to leave it all when we go for the next person but we are so lucky!

The house is a town house so to make it four bedrooms a bed has been put in the living room, and the sofa is in the kitchen.
To make the house useable for the way we live we have put the four girls together and had the living room back.

We ask on Facebook for any donations of living room furniture.  Within hours we have been offered sofas, tv table, unit and coffee table. We also have people offering to collect them for us!  There are some amazing people around and the kindness we have been shown makes me cry!

On the day we move we also have a call from the home education department, when I explain we are moving she offers to call back at the end of the month..  I can't believe how nice she is!     Storm enjoys being at home, he confidence is growing and we have been going back to basics to find any gaps..  times tables are getting better as is the handwriting!     We haven't ruled school out forever but we know for us for now while we are in limbo with housing this is the right decision for us.
